How can I help?
Template design
I design the template, your designer lays out the content.
I provide creative direction and design your publication template, either using your brand guidelines or creating a new design. Once complete, I hand over the files for your designer to take over.
Inclusions
Discovery session to confirm how your existing brand guidelines will apply to the publication design (For designs without a brand guide, a short brand discovery session to extract how to apply the visual strategy to your publication design)
Setting up of template, including master pages and standardising margins, text styles and colours
One-hour post-delivery assistance, for any questions you have about using the design
Investment
Starts from $2,500+GST for three page layouts (one cover, one text-heavy internal spread, and one image-heavy internal spread) for designs with an existing brand guide.
Production design
Your designer designs the template, I lay out the content.
You have an existing publication template and strong brand guidelines that guide the design. I will follow the established creative direction to design your publication for visual consistency.

Design of the actual publication
Prepare for digital upload or pre-press for print
Handover of design files if required

I design the template and lay out the content.
I provide creative direction and design your publication template, either based on your brand guidelines or from scratch. I will then create the entire publication and prepare it for digital or print.

The design process
I take pride in a creative process that is clear and collaborative. Here is what is involved in the Complete design option:

Each project starts with understanding your goals, brand, audience and positioning compared to your competitors/industry. The publications I design are not cookie-cutter templates; they are customised based on what your project requires, to help you or your business share your story with your audience.

Together with you, we will put together a mood board of ideas that will help to inform the creative direction of your publication. This will help me in crafting a design that not only looks great, but sets you apart.

I will then present you with initial design concepts to start with for your feedback, and we will refine from there until we’ve fine-tuned the template based on your input.

Now that we have a base template ready to go, I will lay out your publication content, and send drafts for review until we get to the final approval.

Once the publication is completed, and all relevant stakeholders have signed off on the final publication, I will prepare the final files for print or digital publication. Congrats, you now have a new publication out in the wild!
Design training, online and on-site
