Having enjoyed previous success in restaurant management overseas, restaurateur Guri Singh had a strong desire to introduce the delicious home-style flavours of his culture's cuisine to the tastebuds of everyday Australians. Following months of preparation, Curry n' Cask - a casual bistro plating up authentic Indian fare in Corinda, Brisbane - was finally launched in early 2017. I was commissioned to help with their logo design, which was then rolled out to business stationery, menus, and digital artwork.
Just over a year later, sister restaurant Curry Fix was launched in July 2018. Based in Oxley, Curry Fix plates up delicious Indian takeaway fare. I was again commissioned to design their logo, which was rolled out to menus and signage.

Curry n' Cask
The brief was to capture the bistro's offering of authentic Indian fare to both its Indian and general Australian clientele. Three main colours were chosen to reflect the bold and vibrant flavours of the cuisine on offer - red, brown and black. This was accompanied by a cursive font with a handwritten feel, expressing the casual and friendly atmosphere at Curry n' Cask.
