Aquall is a consultancy company that provides technical advice to individuals and companies working within the water industry. I was commissioned to design the logo for the company, which was applied to business stationery.
The brief was to capture the four key words of water, science, engineering and environmental in a single logo. The solution was a diagrammatic representation of a water molecule as the distinguishing feature, housed within a chemistry beaker that combines the shape of a water drop and the shape of a chemical hazard sign. The colours of the icon are reflective of how the water molecule is typically portrayed in chemistry; namely with red and blue. The san serif font chosen is clean and simple, with the curved letter "l" alluding to the curvature of water pipes.
